Mary Kay Jennings Foys of Chicago and Tinley Park, Illinois, passed away at the age of 80 years on February 14, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mary Kay was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Jennings. Devoted mother of Patricia (Gregg) Hagenmaier, Daniel Foys, Lawrence Foys and James (Christina) Foys. Cherished grandmother of Clayton Hagenmaier, Nathan Foys, Samuel Foys and Lawrence Foys. Loving sister of Robert (Margaret) Jennings, Patricia (Ralph) Kwilosz, the late Jack (Patricia) Jennings, Margaret Jennings, Donna (the late Richard) Ferdinand and James (Jeffrey) Jennings and fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Mary Kay worked in the banking industry for 30 years. She worked as a teller, banking officer and an information technology specialist. She loved to play volleyball, work in her garden and shop. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attended many of her children's and grandsons' school and sporting events. Mary Kay often volunteered at St. Rene's and St. Stephen's parishes and was a member of St. Rita High School's Mother's Club. And she always enjoyed St. Patrick's Day.
