Graveside funeral services for Bobby G. Copeland, age 83 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, February 17, 2025, at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Wright, Rev. L.T. Logue, and Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate.

Mr. Copeland was born August 9, 1941, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Harley Dee Copeland and Mattie Lee Wilson Copeland. He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Lane Claxton; a brother, Cecil Copeland; and twin sisters, May Copeland and Faye Copeland. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Mohawk Carpet. He was of the Nazarene Faith. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Copeland passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Copeland is survived by his wife, Frankie Soles Copeland of Adrian; a son, Rickey Copeland of Wrightsville; a daughter, Deanna Copeland Claxton (Neil) of Adrian; 4 grandchildren, Clay Claxton (Valya) of Adrian, Ashley Copeland of Dublin, Hayley Roberts (Jon) of Adrian, Jasmine Copeland of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Vayda Laine Roberts, May Elizabeth Roberts, sisters-in-law, Shirley Copeland of Wrightsville, Dianne Malcolm of Wrightsville; a brother-in-law, Mike Soles (Connie) of Wrightsville; a niece, Denise Copeland Martin of Kite; and 2 special cousins, Grayson Wilson of Adrian, and Shirley Sumner of Dublin.
