Walter F. Stanish, 82, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Friday, February 14, 2025 peacefully at home. Born in Newark, NJ, he was raised in North Arlington, NJ.

Walter was a lifelong Yankees fan and an avid fisherman. He also cultivated a wonderful vegetable garden along with his wife, which had family and neighbors alike beating a path to their door, especially for the homegrown Jersey Tomatoes. Walter was a devoted family man; his happiest times were those spent with his granddaughters.  

He will be deeply missed.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine and his brother, Howie Isenmann and survived by his three loving sons, Jason Stanish, Mark and his wife, Danielle Stanish and Cory Stanish; two cherished granddaughters, Gabrielle Dugan and husband, Danny  and Torre and his devoted sister, Sharon Petriello.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ.
