OXFORD, CT: Louis J. Vitali, Jr., age 75 of Oxford, he entered peaceful rest on February 14, 2025; he was the husband of Patricia Sue (Tucker) Vitali. Mr. Vitali was born December 8, 1949 in Derby, son of the late Louis J., Sr., and Genevieve (Beres) Vitali. Louis was retired as a Master Carpenter, Craftsman, Mason, and Builder; he bought his first saw at the age of 12, and later he graduated from Bullard –Havens Technical High School’s Carpentry Department. Louis had an infectious sense of humor with those he was with. He was very proficient in his craft, and would assure his customers with his infamous quote, “We can do whatever you want”. Louis was an avid fan of the UCONN Women’s Basketball team as well. He will be fondly remembered for his love and the way he cherished his family and friends.

He leaves his loving family including his children, Louis J. Vitali, III of Oxford, Andrew C. Vitali of Southbury, and Angeleia M. (Kummer) Vitali and her husband Steven of Marshill, ME; his grandchildren, Hannah R. Vitali, Madelyn S. Vitali, and Aubree K. Kummer, his sister Marcie Crowe her husband Bob. He was predeceased by his sister Joyce Vitali, He leaves his nephews Donald Rillstone (Claire),Joseph Klimas (Ann)his nieces Deborah Corcoran (Dana), Susan Johnson (Tim). And many great nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held Saturday March 22nd from 12:00PM to 2:30 PM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of Louis’ life will immediately follow at 2:30PM. Interment will be private. Please share a memory by going to www.hullfh.com
