David E. Cramer Obituary

David E. Cramer or better known as "Pap", 90, of South Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025 at his home.

Married to his love for 68yrs, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was always there to lend a helping hand. He was warm hearted, full of compassion and kindness, giving a hug when you needed it. He was strong minded, full of wisdom and knowledge which he loved to share, although he was a man of few words those that knew him well knew that when he spoke you would want to listen and learn. He would give advice and guidance but, he would let you find your own way, but always there to pick you up if you felt just happy you did it yourself never holding judgement. He would give and never asked for anything in return, but he would let it to you to honor your own commitments to reciprocate any kind of return. In hopes that he taught you how to do the right thing. So therefore, he always loved you unconditionally. He always supported you without judgement, excepted you as a person as long as you did not hurt him or those he loved.

He was in awe of his time with his grandchildren Mat and Brittany and especially great grandchildren Autumn and Mathew. He cherished every moment he spent with them. Especially his grandson Mat with whom he became very close with, he often spoke of how proud he was of him and how he grew up to become an honest man who was an amazing father. There were few people he welcomed after the death of his granddaughter and wife, but there was one who had touched his heart. That is Amanda who was always there and with that loving heart he would wait anxiously to go out for the day with. He knew that he was loved and cared for by her. He loved how she just listened and held his hand. He would say she has a special place in his heart. Along with her he had a special bond with who he would call his buddy, his protector, they went everywhere together he would say that this is “the big guy” Chazy. Then there is his Penny Girl, he would always say he needed to get home to be with her. She has been by his side for 15 years. Which he waited to be home with and waited for her to come to him so they could say their goodbyes and give her one last pat on her head and as she walked away his hand in mine his love for 68 years took his hand from mine and together, they walked side by side hand and hand into their eternal life together forever.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Wildwood Cemetery.
