Randy Gillispie Obituary

Randy Gillispie, 71, Savannah, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, February 14, 2025.

He was born July 7, 1953 to the late William and Delphia (Nitzsche) Gillispie in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Randy married Linda Kaye Crane on June 16, 1979.

For 46 remarkable years, Randy committed his professional life to agricultural service, managing Savannah SUR-GRO which later transitioned to Sure-AG. He was admired for his passion for the work, especially his genuine care for his employees and the farmers he served.

Beyond his professional and family life, Randy's hobbies were a great source of joy. He enjoyed the tranquility of fishing and hunting. He also never missed an opportunity to cheer for his favorite sports teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and MU.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Derrick Gillispie (Jessica) and Michael Gillispie; daughter, Chelsie Kallmeyer (Dustin); grandchildren, Hallie, Macie, Jaxon, and Maxwell Kallmeyer; step-grandson, Aiden Howery (Kaile); sister, Vicki Kennon (Jerry); and extended family.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 22, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Private Inurnment Whispering Pines Cremation Garden at St. Joseph Memorial Park.
