Barbara Ann Criner, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, OH. She was born in Troy, OH on November 21, 1943, to Robert and Nataline (Ewing) Clay.

Barbara was predeceased by her son, Trenton Chandler Foster, sisters, Wanda Clay and Vanessa Burle, and brothers, Chester Baker, Jr. and Michael Baker, brothers-in-law, Doug Criner, Eugene Criner, and Dwight Clay and sister-in-law, Cheryl Criner.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmy Criner of Troy, OH, children, Norman Dimitri (Rhonda) Foster of Piqua, OH, Carl Robert (Bridgette) Foster of Melbourne, FL, Anthony (JoAnn) Foster of Troy, OH, daughter in law, Jessica Foster of Troy, OH, nephew, Matthew Baker of Tampa, FL, brother-in-law, Ray Criner of Troy OH, sisters-in-law, Tracy Criner of Florence, KY and Barbara Clay of Troy, OH, 26 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and her lifelong friend, Frances Freeling of Troy, OH.

Barbara worked for the Board of MRDD and retired from Galbraith Reality. She loved reading books, word search puzzles and watching mystery crime tv shows.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her name to Hospice of Miami County, OH.
