Yolanda Contreras Tesoro, 52, resident of Greenbriar Drive, wife of Luis Ramirez Torres, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at her home.

Born July 13, 1972, in Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico, she was a daughter of Clemente Contreras Landa and Esperanza Tesoro de Contreras. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 25 years are six daughters, Diana Cruz (Carlos Cruz Jimenez), Nancy Molina, Lizbeth Ramirez, Anahie Ramirez, Vanessa Ramirez, and Rosmeri Ramirez all of Greenwood; three brothers, Sergio Contreras of Mexico, Armando Contreras (Maria Dominga Guerrero Galan) of Mexico, and Jose Alberto Hernandez of Sanford, NC; and five grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Francisco Onate-Vargas officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jose Hernandez, Carlos Cruz Jimenez, Alejandro Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Moises Almazan, and Juan Martinez.

The family will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 5-7 Monday evening. A rosary will be said at 6 Monday evening.
