Ronald Charles Massey 2/28/1939 – 2/14/2025

Ronald “Ron” Massey, 85 of Breckenridge entered into his eternal rest on February 14, 2025, with his family by his side.

He was the fourth of eight children born to Charles Rockwell and Hattie Belle (Parker) Massey. On June 13th, 1959, Ron married the love of his life, Pearline (Parker). His death separates a physical union of 65 years.

Ron was an avid race car enthusiast, building, painting and souping up his prized possession, “The Joker”. His other hobbies included fishing and hunting. He was a social magnet, making acquaintances and friendships everywhere he went.

He is survived by his “sweetheart” and wife Pearline, children Debra Williams of Breckenridge (Brian Hector), Eric (Loretta) Massey of Ithaca, Kathy (Dave) Paul of Winfield, PA. He was predeceased by his sons Douglas and Charles.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of nine grandchildren and fifteen great grand-children.

In keeping with Ron’s wishes, there will be no services, and interment will be in Hamilton Cemetery. His family is eternally grateful for the compassionate and supportive care he received from My Michigan Hospice of Mt. Pleasant. In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s wishes that donations be made to My Michigan Hospice to help support others who are on their eternal journey.
