Gastonia, North Carolina Betty Glisson Hicks, 72, of Gastonia passed away November 19, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice House. She was born December 31, 1945 in Gaston County, a daughter of the late Wilson Fotch Glisson and Sadie Sikes Glisson. Betty loved her family and enjoyed photography. She was a member of Firestone Wesleyan Church and worked as a paralegal for Attorney, Bob Lawing. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron Hicks and their Jack Russell Terrier, "Jack"; brothers, David Ray Glisson and Geneva Cunningham and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Tom Glisson. Services will be private for the family.
