Evelyn Irene Grammer, 84, of Houston, passed from this life January 4, 2010. She was born Dec. 30, 1925 in El Campo, Texas to Carl Elmer & Irene Julia Berglund. Evelyn retired from Galena Park I.S.D. where she worked as a custodian for over 20 years, most recently Cunningham Middle School. She was preceded in death by parents and by one brother, Harold Berglund. She is survived by children, Thomas E. Grammer of Houston; Charline Deavers & husband Charles of Baytown; Shirley P. Brewer & husband Phillip of Houston; and Barbara A. Black & husband Mike of Spring, TX; she also leaves sister, Marilyn Kight, and brothers, Donald Berglund and Lawrence Berglund all of El Campo, TX; two grandchildren, Paul Duane Brewer, Matthew Charles Deavers & wife Christina and two great-grandchildren, Sydney Ilene Deavers and Zachary Seth Deavers. Memorial Services are pending at this time.
