Daines, Nancy Caroline, age 87 of Bloomfield Hills passed away November 18, 2018. Loving wife of the late William F. Daines D.D.S.. Dear mother of William F. II (Barbara) Daines, Raymond G. (Ruth) Daines and Erin J. (Chris) Carter. Cherished grandmother of William F. Daines, III, Reed E. Daines, Chloe B. Daines, George M. Daines, Mason H. Daines, Nancy H. Daines, Nathaniel R. Daines, Aaron C. Daines, Jonathan E. Daines, Delaney C. Carter, Andrew R. Carter, Breene E. Carter and CJ W. Carter. Great grandmother of William F. Daines, IV. Nancy earned her B.A. and M.A. in Education from the University of Michigan and M.A. in Speech Pathology from Wayne State University. She worked in numerous teaching and speech pathology positions throughout her career from 1953-2016. As a volunteer, Nancy taught Sunday School at the Kirk in the Hills Church for more than 20 years. She was a Past President of the Oakland County Dental Auxiliary. With respect to her interest in foreign languages, she was the President Emeritus of the Alliance Francoise de Detroit and a member of the Tertulia Espanola. Funeral Service, Saturday, November 24, 2018 1:00 pm with an instate time of 12:30 pm at Kirk in the Hills, 1340 W. Long Lake Road, Bloomfield Hills.
