Viewing will be Sunday, December 13th from 12:00pm-8:00pm and Monday, December 14th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Services to honor her life will be held 10:00am Tuesday, December 15th at our South Colonial Chapel (6934 S.Western Ave)

Born June 5, 1927 in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She went to be with our Lord and Savior after an extended illness at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 10 days. Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd L. Morris, SR. She was an active member of Valley View Baptist Church until she became ill. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Lillie was a Christian that lived her faith not just talked about it. She was always willing to help someone else no matter if it meant sharing her last dollar with someone else that she thought needed it worse than she did. The family was telling me that they could remember when they moved from Nebraska back to Oklahoma and their folks decided to head for Tulsa. Their new neighbor down the street found out Lillie could cut hair and they couldn’t afford haircuts, so Lillie was doing the whole family without charge no matter how tired she was herself. I have seen her take her grocery money and share it with another family.

Lillie was a Housewife and Mother raising four children, a lot of the time on her own when Loyd would be out on the truck. Lillie was always ready to go on a moments notice when Loyd would come and say lets go. The last diaper bag had turned into the bag with everything they would need to leave for Nashville or somewhere else when Loyd would arrive at home.

She did not go back to working outside the home until the youngest was in school. She started working in the Cafeteria in the Moore School System so she could be home when everyone else got home from school. She enjoyed going on the trips with the school cafeteria, she enjoyed seeing Washington D.C. with the ladies since two of them were her sisters, Eva and Ruby.

Lillie is survived by:

Daughter – Shirley J.
