Bernice Hrdlichka died Friday, February 7, 2025, at Owatonna Hospital in Owatonna, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 10, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Owatonna. Friends may greet the family 1.5 hours prior to the funeral Mass from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Owatonna.

Bernice Catherine Hrdlichka was born in Owatonna on October 14, 1931, to parents Joseph and Ann (Dusek) Hrdlichka. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1950. After graduation, she worked at Federated Insurance. Then, she began a career in the banking industry at Wells Fargo Bank. She continued working in the banking industry until her retirement in 1995.

Her life interests included reading, walking, time with friends, family, and neighbors, and playing cards and dice games. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Bernice is survived by a sister, Eleanor Degen, nieces and nephews: Mike Degen, Rick Degen, Roxy Degen, Kitty Schimpach, and Terry Degen; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
