Crowley- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary Lejeune Thibodeaux, 104, at 11:00AM on Monday, November 16, 2015 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Estherwood, LA with Rev. Randall P. Moreau officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 10:00AM until 8:00PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Estherwood Cemetery. Mrs. Thibodeaux passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.
Mrs. Thibodeaux is survived by her son Charles Thibodeaux and his wife, Sophie Thibodeaux of Katy, TX and daughter, Elizabeth Meche of Egan, LA; brother, Joseph Lejeune of Estherwood, LA; sister, June Hupp of Estherwood, LA; grandchildren, Kathleen Thevis and husband Arnold of Gueydan, LA, Toby Meche and wife Peggy of Rayne, LA, Bridgette Frey of Egan, LA, Gary Thibodeaux of Fredericksburg, VA, David Thibodeaux of Katy, TX, Jody Breaux and his wife, Kourtney of Egan, LA; great-grandchildren, Terrell Thibodeaux, Adrian Frey, Coby Meche, Kaitlyn Thevis, Aleisha Frey, Annaleigh Thibodeaux, Austin Thibodeaux, Raigan Thibodeaux, Saige Thibodeaux and Emmaleigh Breaux as well as two great-great grandchildren, Mollie Frey and Rylie Frey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Lejeune and Elizabeth Sensat Lejeune; husband, A.J. Thibodeaux; children, Joseph Thibodeaux and Barbara Breaux; sons-in-law, Clarence Meche and William Breaux; great-grandchild, Crystal Meche as well as sixteen brothers and sisters, Odelia Clement, Julia Myers, David Lejeune, Maggie Lejeune, Aggie Sonnier, Veronica Leger, Wilson Lejeune, Calise Lejeune, Leona Mae Marceaux, Charles Lejeune, Marguerite Barrrymore, Phillip Lejeune, Della King, Freddie Lejeune, Nelda Trahan and Wilma Ruth Lejeune.
Pallbearers will be Toby Meche, Jody Breaux, Gary Thibodeaux, David Thibodeaux, Coby Meche and Arnold Thevis. Honorary pallbearers will be Terrell Thibodeaux and Adrian Frey.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Southwind Nursing Home, Acadia General Hospital and Lamm Family Care Home Health and Hospice for the special care given to Mrs. Thibodeaux.
