Judith Mary Livingston Obituary

In Loving Memory of Judith "Judy" or "Nonni" Mary Livingston

Judith "Judy" or "Nonni" Mary Livingston was born on February 1, 1939, in New Rochelle, New York, from parents John and Edith Mulligan and peacefully passed away on February 2, 2025. She is survived by her sons, Thomas M. Livingston III of Atlanta, Georgia, and John David Livingston, along with his wife Wendy, of Alpharetta, Georgia; and their three children, Elizabeth "Ellie" Edith Livingston, John-Patrick Livingston, and Henry Thomas Livingston. For the last 30 years, Judy was an active member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, Florida. Known for her devotion to faith, family, and community, Judy was a beloved figure in all aspects of life.

Judy's early years were spent between New Rochelle, New York, and Saint Petersburg, Florida, alongside her sisters, Barbara and Jane. She graduated from Boca Ciega High School, where she was part of the inaugural graduating class and served as Vice President of her Junior class. There, she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Livingston Jr.

At St. Paul’s Catholic School, Judy was the quintessential room mother, always lending a helping hand or cooking something delicious. Her support for her children's interests in tennis and golf was tireless, driving them to various tournaments to nurture their talents.

Professionally, Judy worked for over a decade as an office manager for Bruce M. Crawford, where her organizational prowess and warm personality earned her respect and admiration.

In her later years, Judy and Tommy, her husband of over 63 years, enjoyed traveling to Britain, Ireland, and Alaska, but their greatest joy was spending time with their grandchildren, sharing in their adventures and witnessing their growth.

Following a stroke in 2024, Judy resided at Vitality Living Milton, where she was frequently visited by family. Wendy, her daughter-in-law, was a constant companion, helping to decorate her room with the assistance of cousins Laura, Rick, and Debbie. Judy cherished receiving cards and gifts from her sister Jane, friends like Carol, Pam, Susie, and many others, and relished simple pleasures like sitting in the sun.

Judy will be dearly missed by many. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave, Saint Petersburg, FL 33711, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 13th. A Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, February 14th at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, FL 34695, at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) in honor of Judith M. Livingston.
