Grace M. Christensen, age 98, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1926, in Burlington, WI, the daughter of the late Ervin and Clara (Anderson) Bodden. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, George Christensen, on October 9, 1954. Together they created a beautiful family and life, until his passing in 1994. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, home garden canning and traveling. She loved lighthouses and collecting them. Grace was also a part of a travel club, and they traveled to many different places. She loved her faith and her family. She will be deeply missed.

Grace is survived by her two children; James Christensen and Lyn (Dieter) Troesken and nieces and nephews.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband; George, parents; Ervin and Clara, sister; Alice and brothers; Bob and Arthur.

A service will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 104 S Broad St. Elkhorn, WI, 53121 at 12:00PM. A visitation will take place from 10:30AM until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Hazel Ridge Cemetery, Hazel Ridge Rd., Elkhorn, WI.
