Kenneth William Harris

Kenneth William Harris, affectionately known as Kenny to his friends and loved ones, left this world on February 3, 2025, just shy of his 43rd birthday. Born on February 6, 1982, in Houston, Texas, he spent his entire life in the city that he loved, surrounded by the people who meant the most to him. Kenny's presence was a source of laughter and kindness that will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kenny graduated from C.E. King High School in the year 2000 and soon after dedicated himself to serving his country in the US Army as a military police officer. His commitment to his duties was a testament to his character, always placing others before himself and protecting those in need. After his service, he returned to his hometown, where he continued to live a life marked by compassion and joy.

On November 7, 2018, Kenny married the love of his life, Tabatha Harris. Together since 2015, they shared a bond that was unmistakable, a partnership grounded in mutual respect, laughter, and an unbreakable love. Kenny's life was further enriched by his step-children, Destini Williams, Daniel Hoffman, and Dakota Johnson, whom he embraced with open arms and a full heart.

Kenny was predeceased by his mother, Melinda Harris, and is survived by a loving family: his wife, Tabatha Harris; his father and step-mother, Dennis and Mary Harris; his sister, Jennifer Self; and his step-brothers, Pat Martinez Jr. and Alan Martinez. Each family member carries with them a piece of Kenny's spirit, his unwavering support, and his ability to make each day brighter than the last.

Those who knew Kenny understood his passion for music. His eclectic taste meant he could appreciate any genre, finding joy in the melodies and rhythms that soundtrack our lives. Beyond music, Kenny's sense of humor was unparalleled. He was the person who could find a way to elicit a smile in any circumstance, and his sweet, kind-hearted nature made him a friend to all.

As we bid farewell to Kenneth William Harris, we celebrate a life lived with fullness and fervor. He was a beacon of warmth in the lives of many, a dedicated husband, a beloved family member, and a cherished friend. His memory will continue to inspire us, and his laughter will echo in our hearts forever. Kenny's journey on earth has concluded, but the impact of his time here will be felt for generations to come.
