Jason (J. D.) Daugherty, of Stratford, passed away January 30, 2025, in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years.

J. D. was born June 29, 1974, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Robert Joe and Dessie Dee (McGee) Daugherty. He is a 1993 graduate of Pauls Valley High School. He and Jennifer Bonner were married in Pauls Valley, OK in 2008. He worked as a Small Engine Mechanic and has made this area his home all his life.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lou and Clarence Daugherty and Ralph and Lois McGee; great grandmother, Odessia Ponder; Nephew, Christian Bailey; and his best friend, Donald (Duck) Moore.

J. D. is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Jade Adams, Nashton Daugherty, Cheyenne Shorter and husband, Curtis, Ashley Rollings, and Chesney Daugherty; his parents, Robert and Dessie Daugherty; Jennifer's father and mom, Ronnie Bonner and wife Vicki Bonner; Jennifer's mother and dad, Donna Murray and husband, Glen Murray; grandchildren, Hazel, Camden, Atreus, Kasen and Ivy; his sister and her husband, Shelby and John Jarrett; nieces, Challan Bailey, Haleigh Jarrett, Mercedes Jarrett, D'Asia Jarrett, Zailey Sandy, Dexley Sandy and Presslee Bailey; and nephew, J. E. Bailey.

A visitation is scheduled for family and friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Pauls Valley Roundup Club Arena, officiated by Rev. Gene Robinson. Interment will be at Mt.
