Jennifer Godwin, 68, died Thursday January 30, 2025, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born July 17, 1956, in Grant, Nebraska the daughter to Robert Louis Pedigo & Mariam Jeanette Rogers. She married C.J. Godwin on February 25, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City.
Jennifer relocated to Garden City as a young girl, where she spent her childhood and went to school. She graduated from Garden City High School in 1974. Jennifer had a passion for collecting elephants, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors. She cherished assisting her son’s and grandchildren with anything they required.
She is survived by her Husband- C.J. Godwin, Son- Jerod Harsh & family, Sister- Robin & Hoss Cameron & family and 2 Grandchildren- Arellana Harsh & Haylie Sauseda. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Son- Matthew Harsh, 2 Sisters- Sue Ann Wesley & Suzanne Gale Pedigo, 2 Grandchildren- Ellie Rey Harsh & Rayanna Marie Harsh.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at The First United Methodist Church in Garden City with Pastor Jim Akins officiating. There will be no visitation. Family suggests memorial be given to Mariam Godwin Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. 7th St., Garden City, Ks 67846. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
