Calvin Ray Pearce Obituary

Services for Calvin Ray Pearce, 64, of Mentor, will be at 8 PM on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Jimmy Riley of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Pearce passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his home in Mentor.

Born May 27, 1953 in Punxsutawney, PA he was a longtime Lake County resident.

He was a United States Army and National Guard veteran and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Pearce was a retired electronic assembler at the former Cyberex Company in Mentor and then at Philips Healthcare in Highland Heights.

Survivors are his loving wife, Audrey; children, Chuck Pearce (Tina Berkley); Becky Mullenax, Colleen (Brian) Wofford and Timothy (Nancy) Maltry; 12 grandchildren and siblings, Louise Ott, Mary Ann (Gary) Sanders, George (Dee) Pearce, James Pearce and Robert (Maureen) Pearce. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families and his two cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Margaret (Watson) Pearce.
