Jerald “Jerry” Lee Williamson, 82, of Lake Village, AR, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Delta Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born on January 11, 1943, in Shirley, Indiana, to his parents Robert Earl Williamson and Kathryn Gold. Jerry graduated from Knightstown High School. He went on to get his bachelor’s degree from Ball State in Indiana and his master’s degree from Auburn University in Alabama. Jerry was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lake Village, AR, where he served as an Elder. He was a City Councilman for Lake Village, AR for 20 years. Jerry was the Vice President at a Farm Fresh Catfish Company/Hormel for many years. He was a member of the American Legion, Catfish Farmers of America, and Chicot County Veterans Affairs Officers. He was a member of the U. S. Army from 1961-1964. Jerry enjoyed traveling, gardening, and reading. He was an avid bird watcher. Jerry was a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Loretta Williamson; a son, Jason Williamson; grandfather, Sam Gold, and grandmother, Inez Gold.

Jerry is survived by his son, Joseph “Joey” Williamson (Shannon) of Lake Village, AR; a Grandson, Eli Williamson of Lake Village, AR; two sisters, Donna Johns of Anderson, IN and Sharon Pyles of Spring Hill, TN; a brother, Robert Earl Williamson, Jr of Beloit, WI; a dear friend, Darrell Haines (Judy) of Knightstown, IN, and a host of other friends and family.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Trout, David Lowe, Mike Freeze, Ronnie Jackson, Roger Yant, Bruce Elliott, Eddy Bush, Sam E. Angel II, David Huggins, and Clay Gibbson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 5-7:00 P.M. at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 10 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Village, AR.
