Ivalyn Caldwell Turner, 68, of Greenville, died January 30, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born October 5, 1956, in Carrollton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Caldwell and the late Mary Frances Holston Caldwell. A devoted mother and grandmother, Ivalyn's family was the cornerstone of her existence. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Ivalyn's interests reflected her nurturing spirit. She found solace in the tranquility of her garden, tending to her plants with the same care and attention she gave to her loved ones. A voracious reader, she also enjoyed the quiet company of her books, which were constant companions throughout her life. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Coleman Caldwell, Barbara Lyon, Randy Caldwell, and Esther Brown.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Robert W. Turner, Jr.; daughters, Jessica Turner, and Kayla Pollock (Andrew); sister, Carol Zamboni (Chip); grandchildren, Olivia Pollock, and Hunter Pollock; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
