RUTH WINNIFRED SAUNDERS (SHORT)

1945 – 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruth Saunders (Short) announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on December 12, 2015 at the age of 70. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Violet & Andrew Short; stepfather Harold Armstrong; twin sons (childbirth) and two sisters-Betty and Carol. Left with fond and loving memories is her son Cory Saunders of St. John’s. Also leaving to mourn are her brothers, Rick, Bruce and David Armstrong; special niece Delores Coish (sis) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Rev. Wilson Gonese will conduct the funeral service from the Grace United Church in Springdale on Monday, December 14 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the United Cemetery in Little Bay. Pallbearers are Cory Saunders, Tim Boyde, Mike Blackler, Bruce Armstrong, Dave Armstrong and Berkley Coish.
