Avon: At the age of 47, Kevin Snyder passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at his mother’s

home while receiving hospice care for cancer.

Kevin was born on August 1, 1977, in Berlin, Germany at an Army hospital to Mark Snyder of

Crofton, MD and Susan Abeline of Avon, NY.

Survived by a niece, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be remembered by numerous life-

long friends and their children, many of whom considered him family and treasured his opinion.

He was a wealth of information, and a true gentleman.

Kevin graduated from Hornell Senior High school. He worked for the last 20 years at Crosman

Corp., in W. Bloomfield, NY.

Kevin was a kindhearted man who never missed an opportunity to help those around him,

whether coming to the rescue of a child with a broken bike chain or being there for the teenagers

he mentored as they grew into adults. He counselled his friends with honesty and love.

Family and friends are welcome to call at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Saturday

February 1, 2025, between 1 – 3 pm.

the charity of your choice.

Kevin's Celbration of Life will be held in the Spring.
