Ronnie Ervin Hedrick, 75, of Conover passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Carolina Caring of Robinson Road in Newton. He was born June 3, 1943 in Harriman, TN to the late Ervin and Catherine Hoke Hedrick. Ronnie was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Conover, where he served on the church council. He was a United States Army veteran, and taught masonry at Newton-Conover High School for ten years. Ronnie enjoyed golfing, and surf fishing at the Outer Banks. Those left to cherish his memory are; Wife of 51 years: Rebecca Morrow Hedrick of the home Sons: Bobby “Shawn” Hedrick and wife Monica of Conover Todd Ervin Hedrick of Conover Sister: Cathy H. Miller and husband Tom of Concord Grandchildren: Chloe M. Hedrick and Noah A. Hedrick A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Conover. Pastor Scott Bollinger will officiate. Inurnment with military honors by American Legion Post 48 will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial may be made to Mt.
