With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our infant daughter, Elaine Ann Carroll, who left us on January 19, 2025, at 3:57 p.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Elaine was the cherished daughter of Daniel Lloyd Carroll and Ashly Michelle Hiltebeitel. Though her time with us was brief, she will always be remembered and loved.
Elaine is survived by her parents, Daniel and Ashly of Tuscola, Illinois; her paternal great-grandfather, Richard Hosman; her maternal great-grandmother, Sandra Ryan; her paternal grandparents, Todd Carroll and Annette (Kalvin) Croft; her maternal grandmother, Julie Ryan; uncles Jonah Hiltebeitel, Ricky Coppula, Joseph (Mara) Lopez, and Shannon Lopez; and aunts Olivia Hiltebeitel, Mary Lopez, along with many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Elliette Hosman, and her maternal great-grandfather, Gary Ryan.
A private graveside service and burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery with Pastor Scott Sims officiating.
