Leonard C. Rogers Jr., of Mt. Morris, MI, age 67 passed away at Hurley Medical Center on January 22, 2025.  Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at First Baptist Church-Mt. Morris, 800 Louisa St., Mt. Morris, MI.  Family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday, January 28, from 3:00 - 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 - 12:00 PM before the service.  Cremation to follow.  Pastor Kevin Dixson officiating.

Leonard was an expert drywaller, he loved the outdoors, gardening and cooking and trying new recipes. He loved to help others. Leonard served in the United States Marine Corps. and was honorably discharged in 1978. Leonard is survived by his wife Roxanna Rogers, kids Christine Allen, Christy Rogers, Jeremiah Frum, Christian Rogers, Alisha Rogers, several grandchildren, several great grandkids, mother and stepfather Mavis and Verlin Ray, brother Larry Rogers (Lois), sister Rebecca Ray, stepsisters Tina Dear and Tami Vasher, several nieces and nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his son Christopher Rogers, brother Berkley Rogers and father Leonard C. Rogers Sr.
