It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Nathan Robinson Jr. who transitioned on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Nathan A. Robinson, a native of Florence County, was the beloved son of the late Nathan A. Robinson Sr. and Bessie M. Ashley Robinson. Educated in the New York Public School System, Nathan went on to earn a degree from Brooklyn College.

From an early age, Nathan was deeply involved in his faith. He attended Marcy Gospel Assembly Church, where he later became a dedicated member. Over the years, his commitment to the church grew, leading him to actively participate in various activities and eventually serve as a youth leader.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nathan A. Robinson Sr.; his mother, Bessie M. Ashley Robinson; and four brothers: Earl Vern Robinson, Charles Allen Robinson, Richard Robinson, and Bobby Robinson.

Cherishing his memory are his siblings: Cordell (Tony) Robinson Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia; Shirley A. (Arthur) Kennedy of Florence, SC; Jackie Chappelle of Virginia Beach, VA; and Lula M. Robinson of Laurel, Maryland. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever treasure his warm and loving spirit.
