Joshua Quinton Hicks Obituary
Joshua Quinton Hicks, age 47, of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Born on April 1, 1977, in Monroe, Georgia, he was a son of the late Fredrick Arlander Hicks, Sr. and Frances Dianne Brown Hicks. Joshua was the owner and operator of Josh’s Landscape and Painting. He loved his family, and in his spare time, enjoyed fishing, working on cars, races, Georgia Tech football, traveling and camping. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Juanita Hicks; and a brother, Clayton Hicks.
Survivors include sisters, April Hicks Cochran, Frances Rose Mae Hicks, Lillie Naomi Hicks Cain, and Amy Louise Hicks, Brazil; brothers, Fredrick Arlander Hicks, Jr., and Roman Patrick Hicks; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Josh’s Life will be planned at a later date at Deep Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.
