Susan A. Flemmer

Our beloved sister, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at McLaren Bay Region. Born to the late Adolph C. and E. Caroline (Palmer) Flemmer, Susan graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1972. She earned her LPN at Bay County Medical Care Facility and later moved to California, where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Susan’s career as a Registered Nurse took her around the world through the Nurse Corps of America program, including two trips to Saudi Arabia during King Fahd’s reign. She concluded her career at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Frankenmuth.
In her younger years, Susan played the violin in the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra and often performed for theatre productions at the Bay City Players and local high schools.
Susan is survived by her two sisters, Marilyn (Tom) Leppek and Tricia (Mark) Monville, sister-in-law Sharyl Flemmer, as well as nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Caroline, one sister, Andrea (Jim) Pike, one brother, John Flemmer, and friend Jim Grego.
Per Susan's request, cremation will take place. A Celebration of her life will be planned for a later date. No visitation or services will be held now at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1200 Garfield Ave., bay City, MI 48708.
