Leonard James Adams

Leonard James Adams Age 64 of Oakley passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Memorial Healthcare of Owosso. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Bill Gruden officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Wednesday, November 14 from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Leonard was born on January 19, 1954 to Leonard H. and Margaret R. (Stopjik) Adams in Saginaw. He attended Chesaning High School and worked at Roy Craft in his younger years. During his life, Leonard always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed horse racing, Michigan football, and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew, Jamie Morse, who helped care for him for many years. Leonard is survived by his mother, Margaret Adams; his siblings, Rick (Dawn) Adams, Jack (Tricia) Adams, Tim (Lenora) Griffin, and Nancy (Brian) Morse; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Leonard H. Adams, and his great-nephew, Jayden Morse. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
