Mary Cochran Obituary

Mary Eileen Kilcourse Brennan Cochran, 94, died Sunday surrounded by family at home. Born in Astoria, Queens, she summered in Rocky Point when she was younger and was a long-time resident of Hicksville, NY where she raised her family. She was an avid golfer, bowler, quilter, and volunteer. Mary is survived by her two children and their spouses, Alice Brennan Laino (Pat) of Lawrence and Thomas Brennan (Maureen) of Center Moriches; 7 grandchildren: Pat Laino, Michael Brennan, Brianne Kelleher, Christopher Brennan, Kimberly Beymolla, Thomas Brennan, and Kacie Brennan, along with their spouses and 10 great-grandchildren who adored her. We wish her eternal peace as she joins her two sons, George Brennan and Michael Brennan, along with her late husband Paul Cochran, and countless family and friends. A private ceremony and burial will be held at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Wounded Warriors Project, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or American Breast Cancer Foundation.
