Dorothy L. Leech was born July 24, 1929 in Pontiac Michigan, the daughter of Horace and Nellie Horsfall. On November 11, 2018 at the age of 89 she entered into rest at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dorothy was a long time resident of the city of Warren. She and her husband Hubert enjoyed 54 years as residents, and were very active in many different organizations throughout the city. Dorothy spent many years working as an Assistant Librarian for the Warren Public Library, before retiring to spend more time with her family. Dorothy and Hubert were also very involved in the Warren Historical and Genealogical Society. She is predeceased by her parents and beloved husband. Dorothy leaves behind her children Sandra (James) Breck, Denise (Tim) Moore, and Bradley Leech. She was the treasured grandmother of four, and great-grandmother to four great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held for Dorothy at 10:00 am on April 27, 2019 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. Warren, (at Masonic). the family will be receiving friends and visitors starting at 9:00 am until the time of service. In Honor or Dorothy the family asks for donatinons to be made to Disabled American Veterans, Warren Historical and Genealogical Society, and the Friends of the Warren Public Library.
