John E. Pridmore, 96, of Glenview formerly Northbrook, passed away December 12, 2015. Husband of the late Patti Dowd Pridmore; father of John D. (Peg), Bill (Melissa) and Robert (Ellen); grandfather of Angela (Matt) Bofenkamp, Katie, Will, Carli, Mack, Nicholas and Andrew; great grandfather of Blake, Logan and Adeline; brother of the late Robert (Lucille) Pridmore; brother-in-law of Sr. Rosemary Dowd, RSCJ; uncle of Roberta, Elizabeth and Clive. Mr. Pridmore was a veteran serving as Captain in the US Army during WWII. He was President of George Sollitt Construction Company and Past President of the Chicago Athletic Association and the Builders Association of Chicago. He was also the Rear Commodore of the Waukegan Yacht Club. Memorial visitation Saturday, December 19, from 9:15 am until time of mass 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1775 Grove St., Glenview.
