Doris S. Nelson, 90, of Glenview and Rye, NY. At rest December 16, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Nelson. Loving mother of Jeanette (the late Michael) DeLuca and Marilyn (the late Patrick) Goulding. Proud grandmother of Karen (Cam) Casto, Jeff, Robert, Kevin, and Stephanie. Dear great grandmother of Emily, Amy, and Ethan. Doris was born in Wellsville, NY and following high school went to work for the FBI in Washington D.C. She was with the FBI until she and Robert married in 1947. After spending many years in Rye, NY they moved to Glenview in 1974. Memorial Service, Saturday, January 7, 2 p.m. at the Glenview Community Church, 1000 Elm St, Glenview. Interment Glenview Community Church Memorial Garden. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Avenue , Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130.
