<p><br></p><p>Funeral service for Juanita W. Bryant, 88 of Wellington, will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 20, 2025 at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Jacksonville. Reverend Dale Olmstead will officiate and burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Bryant passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Eric Clayton Bryant; her brothers, David Waldrop (Connie) and Bill Waldrop; and brother-in-law, Jerry Mays.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Bryant was born in Oneonta, Alabama to the late, P.J. and Victoria Harrell Waldrop. She was an active member of Union Methodist Church, she was well known for her cooking and she was on the Calhoun County Women's Farmers Federation for more than 42 years.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Johnny Bryant; her son, Keith Bryant and his wife Diane; her grandson, David Ray Bryant and his wife Whitney; her great-granddaughters, Natalie and Hailey Bryant; her sister, Judy Mays; her brother, Daniel Waldrop and his wife Pat; sister-in-law, June Waldrop; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Pallbearers will be Geoff Lyons, Alan Bryant, Eugene Smith, Todd Waldrop, Lanny Gaines, and David Bryant.</p><p><br></p><p>Honorary pallbearers will be Natalie and Hailey Bryant.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be made to Southern Care/New Beacon of Anniston, 1419 Leighton Avenue Suit A, Anniston, Al 36207 or the Cemetery Fund at Union Methodist Church, Attention Eugene Smith, PO Box 206 Wellington, Alabama 36279.</p><p><br></p><p>Special thanks to the community for their thoughts and prayers, Southern Care/New Beacon Hospice of Anniston, and especially to her nurses and caregivers Brianna Wade and Faith Herod.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be sent to www.klbrownfuneralhome.com</p><p><br></p><p>K.L.
