Giles D. Jewett Jr. of North Clarendon, Vermont, passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 79, after a prolonged illness. He was born February 1, 1945, in Hartford, CT. The son of Giles D. Jewett Sr. and Evelyn Foote Jewett.

He served in the U.S. Navy, retired from General Electric after 25 years. At which time he continued his love for automobile and small engine repair. He was locally known by many as “The Tractor Guy.”

One of ten children, predeceased by his sister Elaine, survived by his siblings, Donald, Roy, Sandra, Marie, Jeff, Cindy, Sherry, and Larry.

He was the father of Lisa Jewett, Wayne Jewett and wife Gina, Shelly Lachance and husband Jay, Tammy Jewett (deceased) Valerie Harrington and Amy Muro.

Grandfather of Joshua and his fiancée Jodi, Ashlee (deceased), Jennifer and wife Marykate, Michael, Kayla, Kiera, Tyler, Samantha, Dylan, Josephina, and Isaiah (deceased), and Great Grandfather of Aviera, Mykenna, Jada, Jayden, Landen, and Bentley. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and his special little girl kitty named Lyla, aka “The Boss.”
