Shelia Barber Easterling Obituary

Shelia (Barber) Easterling, 61, of Trafford, AL, passed away on January 14, 2025. Born on July 26, 1963, Shelia dedicated her life to caring for others in her profession as a home health aide, a role that reflected her deep compassion and love for helping others.

A true sports enthusiast, Shelia was an avid fan of NASCAR, particularly Dale Earnhardt, and passionately supported Alabama football. Her leisure time was often spent by the pool or indulging in her gardening, taking pride in her beautifully kept yard. Above all, Shelia cherished moments with her family, especially doting on her grandson, Jaxon.

Shelia is survived by her son, Fred Easterling (Jeanette); her fiancé, Don Rosetta; sisters, Betty Adkins and Carmen Singh; grandson, Jaxon Easterling; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orbie Bill and Betty Jean (Lantz) Barber; brother, Billy Barber; and sisters, Barbara McMurry, Tammy Creek, and Lisa Burrow.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, from 12 pm until 2 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm at Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home, located in Cleveland, AL. Shelia's life and legacy will be honored as we gather to say our final goodbyes to a beloved mother, fiancée, grandmother, sister, and friend.
