Donald Ellis Crowe, 70, of Versailles, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness on January 14, 2025. Donnie was born April 23, 1954 in Versailles to the late Owen Crowe Jr. and Nellie Disponett Stratton. Donnie retired from the Woodford County Road Department. He loved fishing, going to car shows, hunting and all his dogs over the years. Donnie was easy going, very kindhearted and will be greatly missed.

Donnie is survived by his companion of many years, Sharon Slatton and his son, Michael Wayne Crowe (Crystal), his mother Nell, his brother Jeff Crowe (Pam), sisters Judy King (James) and Sherry Crowe, his step-daughters Teresa Cochran (Rick) and Mandy Nichols, their children and grandchildren. Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Judy McCann Crowe.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am, Friday, January 17 at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home, Versailles, Kentucky. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 until service time. Pallbeares will be Jeff Crowe, Michael Crowe, Bo Wilson, Scott Dean, Jeffery Darr, David Kidd. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to your local humane society.
