Elsie Ridings Geers, Age 107, of White Hall, Il, passed away on November 12, 2015 in White Hall. Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, at 1 p.m. at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton, IL. Graveside service and burial will be 2 p.m. at St. John's Cemetery. Elsie was born in White Hall to Tom and Kate Tatman Ridings on April 3, 1908. She enjoyed elementary teaching for 35 years. Marriage to Anthony J. Geers was August 28, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was also predeceased by 7 brothers (Claude, Jesse, Edgar, Howard, Ward, Robert, John & Gene and 4 sisters (Lenora Noblet, Nell Nash, Maude Bateman and Mary Powell). She is survived by two sons, Joseph R. (Dorothy) Geers of Hot Springs Village AR and Samuel (Blair) Geers of Largo, FL.
