William Decker

William Decker age 83 of Carrollton died Friday, December 11, 2015 at Community Hospital in Staunton. He was born February 15, 1932 in Villisca, IA, the son of Francis and Verlin Neal Decker. He married Linda Varble May 9, 1959 and she preceded him in death October 23, 1991. He is survived by two sons, Steven (Marsha) Decker of Godfrey, Stanley (Laurie) Decker of Carrollton, three daughters, Dixie Harr of Edwardsville, Connie Deprow of Highland, Becky (Marion) Davidson of Carrollton, fifteen grandchildren, Brad Decker, Bryan Decker, Brett Decker, Brenda Arnaud, Jacob Decker, Nick Rimbey, Leanna Harr, Seth harr, Chad Deprow, Chase Deprow, Hollie Davidson, Ethan Davidson, Ben Davidson, Bene York, and Alyssa York, four great grandchildren, one sister, Lois Hunziker of Kahoka, Mo and his twin brother, Robert Decker of California, and a special friend, Elora Jean Lesemann. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Fred Decker, two sisters, Bernice Murphy and Frances Hendry. William was a member of the Stuart E. Pierson Masonic Lodge #50 A.F & A.M. of Carrollton, and the Shriner’s. He loved farming and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton with burial to follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Masonic Lodge. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com
