Ronnie Joseph Harrelson, 79, of Asheboro, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.

Funeral services, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Garry Arnett officiating. Burial will follow Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.

Born in Lumberton, NC, on June 7, 1945, Mr. Harrelson was the son of the late E.V. and Nettie Burke Harrelson. He was a self-employed truck driver with wife Brenda for years, then he and Brenda owned Seagrove Family Restaurant. He attended Center Cross Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrelson was preceded by death his wife, Brenda Loggains Harrelson; brother, Adolphus Harrelson; sister, Beverly Jean Harrelson Hines.

He is survived by his niece, Toby Loggains Page (John); brother-in-law, Bobby Loggains; other nieces, Connie Luffman Ittner and Becky Hoover.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
