Graveside services for John Robert Sudduth, Jr., age 95, of Roanoke will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memory Gardens With Bro.Chance Meinzer with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sudduth passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in Lineville AL.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jenny Williamson of Elberta, AL; two sons, John Robert Sudduth, III, (Beth) of Oxford and Terry Sudduth of Roanoke; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Sudduth of Faragut, TN.

Pallbearers will be Candace Jenkins, Eden Owen, Kevin Muldrew, Render Yarbrough, Walter Sudduth, Mike Parmer, John Robert Sudduth, IV, and Robert Sudduth.

A Laverne, Alabama native, Mr. Sudduth was born on March 15, 1929, the son of John Robert Sudduth, Sr., and Sue Stitt Sudduth. He was a member of Lebanon Christian Church, served in the Alabama National Guard for 16 years, and worked for 54 years at Milliken as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Sudduth was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Bartlett Sudduth; and a sister, Carolyn Hendon.
