Joan F. Peterson, 82, of Oconto, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Cottages in Marinette, where she most recently resided. She was born on October 2, 1942 to the late Lloyd and Elsie (Votie) Baldwin. She married George Peterson on February 4, 1961. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2010. Joan spent her entire career working in the office of Bond Pickle Company and enjoyed spending her free time with her family camping, boating and snowmobiling. She was a member of Oconto Gospel Chapel.

Joan is survived by son, Randy Peterson; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Brown; granddaughter Kaley (Taylor) Petrick; great granddaughter, Genevieve Petrick; and siblings , Grace Wasley, Ruth Fifarek, and Donald Baldwin. She was preceded in death by siblings, Lloyd Jr., Lois Hendry, William, Donald, Delores Brandle, Raymond and Judy Lantow.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Oconto Gospel Chapel, Oconto, from 3 to 5 PM Thursday, January 16, 2025. Memorial services will be conducted 5 PM Thursday at the church by the Rev. Adam Sellen. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
