JACK A. LITTLETON Obituary

Jack A. Littleton, 75, of Piqua, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus while surrounded by family on January 10, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. Jack was born in Piqua on September 8, 1949 to the late Howard and Mary Jane (Hamilton) Littleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tommy Littleton and Jimmy Littleton.

Jack met his soulmate, Linda (Ross) Littleton, in 1970. The two married on April 9, 1971. In addition to his loving wife of 53 years, he is survived by one son, Tom Littleton; one daughter, Beth (Lynn) Maniaci; three grandchildren, Emma Jane, Dominic and Lucia Maniaci; one brother, Rick (Eileen) Littleton; two sisters-in-law, Pat Littleton and Susan Boryca; and many nephews, nieces and extended family.

Jack graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1967. He served in the United States Army from 1970 to1972; serving in the Vietnam War. After his service, he was Honorably discharged. Jack worked for 30 years as a desktop publisher at Hammer Graphics before its closure, then another 10 years at Post Printing. His creativity was always on display, whether making funny signs and banners, or taping and editing many years of treasured home videos.

A lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, Jack could always be found sporting his beloved orange, brown and white, even driving a custom-painted minivan that looked like a Browns helmet on wheels for many years. He loved sports of all types, especially football, hockey and baseball. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished time with family, always looked for the good in every situation and sought to add humor to every part of life. Being a big kid himself, he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also treasured his friendships throughout his life and recently gathered with several friends from Piqua at 3 Joe’s Pizzeria. He cherished this gathering and enjoyed reminiscing with so many old friends.

A private memorial service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s honor to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Inc. 3230 N County Rd 25 A, Troy, OH 45373.
