Kitty (Catherine) Zenkus of Kings Park passed away on January 10th, 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved wife to the late John A. Zenkus, loving mother of John Zenkus and Anthony Zenkus. Loving and cherished aunt and friend to many.

Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 3 to 7 PM at Nolan Funeral Home, Inc., 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY 11768. Mass of Catholic Burial Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Philip Neri Church, Northport, NY. Burial to follow at St. Philip Neri Cemetery, East Northport, NY.

Kitty was born in Harlem, NY in 1932, married her beloved Johnny when she was 18 years old and moved to Long Island in 1957. She and her husband John were the proprietors of Laurel Auto Parts in East Northport for many years, after which Kitty worked for Northport Schools where she retired after 32 years of service.

Kitty was dedicated to her church, St. Philip Neri, where she volunteered for the Altar Society, as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and with the Ministry of Consolation. Kitty’s love for her family, friends, Church and community was felt by all who knew her.
