Linda “Nana” Jean Fowler passed away on January 7, 2025, at her home in Dermott, where she was surrounded by family. Linda was born on September 6, 1948, in Dermott, AR to Eugene and June Farrell. She graduated from Dermott High School in 1966. Linda was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Dermott. She worked as a Bookkeeper/Secretary for the Cotton Industry. Linda was a Country Instructor for the Bayou Kickers, and she enjoyed visiting nursing homes all over Arkansas and Mississippi. Linda loved woodworking, crocheting, and dancing.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Fowler; son, Jonathan Scott Fowler (Marsha) of Dermott; two grandchildren, Dylan Fowler of Dermott, and McKinsey Sass (Bradley) of Kelso, AR; one great-grandson, Walker Sass of Kelso, AR; sister, Sheila Brannon of Dover, AR; two brothers, Buddy Farrell (Ginger) of Granbury, TX, and Bryan Farrell of Dermott; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Dermott City Cemetery or Temple Baptist Church in Dermott.
A Private Memorial will be held at a later date.
