Edward Clarence Sheppard, 87, of Kinmount, Ontario passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, at the Peterborough Hospital surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.

Ed was born on February 17, 1937, in Wroxton, Saskatchewan, he grew up in Toronto and moved to Iron Bridge, ON at 17 when the family purchased Wilderness Lodge. Later returning to Toronto and eventually meeting the love of his life for over 50 years, Donna Huntley Sheppard.

Ed worked as a Truck driver until he retired at 65 and moved to Kinmount, Ontario with his wife Donna, there they found their piece of Paradise.

Predeceased by his wife Donna Huntley Sheppard, father George, his stepfather Gilbert (Gib) Berry, his mother Elsie, his sisters Joan Daniher and Emily McElrea, and his son Alan Sheppard.

Ed is survived by his children; daughter Star (Andy) Frampton, sons Randy (Sue) Pollett, John (LeeAnn) Sheppard, Debbie (Chris) Knowles; grandchildren David Campbell and William (Kanae) Frampton, Jessica Pollett, Jerry (Michelle) Pollett, Jordyn and Cole Sheppard, Kara and Kristen Knowles; and great grandchildren Isobel and Abigail Pollett. Also survived by his niece and nephew Kari, Blaine and brother-in-law Ron McElrea, many extended family members and friends. He will also be missed by his cat Zack, he loved him very much.

The Funeral Service is private. A Celebration of Life with his family and friends will be held later.
