Marlyn Millard Price, aged 80, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Hayden, Alabama. Born on May 13, 1944, in Blount County, Alabama, Marlyn was a cherished member of his community and a beloved figure in his family.

Marlyn dedicated his career to operating his own floor covering service, a testament to his hard work and commitment to providing for his family. He was a passionate outdoorsman, a member of the DryCreek Hunting Club, and an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, the New Orleans Saints, and Alabama football. His love for travel took him from Alaska to the Bahamas. Marlyn also enjoyed farming, playing cards, and other games, which he often shared with his family, whom he loved dearly.

He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Judy Price, and his children: sons James, Gary, and William Price; daughters Latitia Raabe, Leigh Williams, Sherry Mayer, and Katherine Mayer, sister Marie Goldman. Marlyn was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lottie Price, his brother Willard Price, and his sister Julia Huffstutler.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Marlyn's life will be held at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, AL, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will occur from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marlyn's memory can be made to the Blount County Animal Shelter.
